Acticin (Permethrin)

General information

Acticin Cream is a scabicide. It works by killing the scabies mite (Sarcoptes scabiei).

Directions

Use Acticin Cream as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. Thoroughly massage into the skin from the head to the soles of the feet. It is not necessary to put the medicine on the scalp except in children and older patients. Don't remove the medicine by washing during 8 to 14 hours. Do not use it near the eyes or allow it to come into contact with the inside of the nose, mouth, or genitals.

Precautions

Avoiding repeated contagion, scavenge your environment and personal care items and don't give them to other persons. During treatment keep off sexual contacts.

Contraindication

Avoid using it if you have allergic reaction and if you are breastfeeding.

Possible side effect

It may cause allergic reaction such as eruption, pruritus, difficulty breathing, tensity, skin tumor. If necessary seek emergency medical help at once.

Drug interaction

There are unknown symptoms. Inform the doctor about the using products.

Missed dose

Take it only once. If it's necessary recur it in seven days.

Overdose

Inform your doctor if you think you've used much of the creame. Any known overdose symptoms.

Storage

Store your medicines at room temperature between between 15-30 C (59-86 F)in a wet package. Store it away from moisture and light.
