Directions
Take this medication exactly as it was prescribed for you. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results from this medication. The basic dose is 5-60 mg daily and keeping dose is usually 5-10 mg daily.
Precautions
Tell the doctor if you have liver or kidney illness, diabetes, tuberculosis, belly sore, malaria, asthenic bulbar paralysis, glaucoma, psychic disorder or if you are pregnant. Avoid being near people who are sick or have infections and call your doctor for preventive treatment if you are exposed to chicken pox or measles. Do not receive a 'live' vaccine while you are being treated with Prednisolone.
Contraindications
Don't use if you have an allergy, diabetes and Itsenko-Cushing syndrome, in pregnant and elderly people, have psychosis, osteoporosis, stomach sores, recently surgery, syphilis or tuberculosis.
Possible side effect
Call your doctor if you have problems with your vision, swelling, rapid weight gain, feeling short of breath, depression, unusual thoughts or behavior, convulsions, bloody or tarry stools, pancreatitis sickness, retching, low potassium, increased urination, high blood pressure or mood changes.
Drug interaction
Correct the intake dose, during the cooperation the drug with anti-diabetic and and anticoagulant drugs.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose connect with your doctor for instructions.
Overdose
Call emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. Overdose symptoms may include thinning skin, changes in body fat, increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems.
Storage
Store your medicines at room temperature between 20-25 C (68-77 F). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
