General information
Buspar belongs to the group of antidepressants. It is prescribed for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and social phobia.
Directions

Precautions
Before starting your treatment with Buspar tell your doctor if you have allergy to the medicine, bipolar confusion, kidney, liver or eye problem. Do not take alcoholic beverages and grapefruit. Middle aged can be more sensitive to the medicine.
Contraindications
Pregnant and breastfeeding women and patients with hypersensitivity to Buspar can't use the medicine.
Possible side effect
Side effects can be the following: fever, insomnia, tremor, anxiety, blurred vision, vomiting, and diarrhea. Serious side effects are unlikely to occur. If you experience any side effect not listed above contact your doctor at once.
Drug interaction
Buspar can interact with the following medicines: haloperidol, rifampicin. Also it can interact with alcohol, grapefruit, grapefruit juice and grapefruit extract.
Missed dose
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time of the next intake just skip it and go back to your schedule.
Overdose
If you think you have overdosed the medicine seek emergency medical help at once. The overdose symptoms are chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeat, and feeling light-headed or fainting.
Storage
Store the medicine at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Keep all drugs away from reach of children and pets.
