Karela is a Himalaya medication containing a pure plant extract of Momordica Charantia (or Bitter Gourd). It is a potent laxative and digestive agent with anti inflammatory and anti flatulent properties. It is an iron-containing herb that is also enriched with vitamins (B1, B2, B3, and C), potassium and calcium. It is chiefly effective against the type 2 diabetes mellitus.
